Italian Restaurants for Valentine’s Day
Below is a short list of some of our favorite Italian Restaurants in San Diego. Each company is unique. We hope you will find these recommendations helpful.
Old Town El Cajon
Mangia Bene Ristorante Italino
221 E Main St, El Cajon, CA
(619) 444-6030
Note: This is a more casual Italian restaurant with reasonable prices. They service lunch and dinner with an all you can eat buffet. On Valentine’s Day, they sometimes bring in a musician playing the accordion and/or violin.
La Mesa (less formal)
Ciao Bella
Note: This restaurant was recently sold by the man who started Ciao Bella. If you want a real Italian dinner, complete with hugs and kisses from the staff, this is the place to go! It is a real taste of the Italian culture.
Old Town La Mesa (more formal)
Tiramisu Trattoria
8273 La Mesa Blvd, La Mesa, CA
(619) 698-0096
Note: This place is a bit more formal than Ciao Bella, and you won’t get kissed by the waiter! The staff at Tiramisu Trattoria is delightful and acommodating. They have a large wine selection and excellent Italian food!
La Jolla Shores
Piattis
Note: We are a little biased, because Chism Brothers painted Piatti’s a few years ago, but this is a wonderful place to dine. Piatti’s La Jolla has a spectacular atmosphere and has some of the best Italian food we have found in San Diego. The staff that serves you really knows the menu and can offer great advice! The prices are reasonable, and the food is far above average!
