You Do That Too?

Last week I was referred by a window restoration contractor on a job he was starting in Mission Hills. He was going to build six new window sashes for his client and recommend that she call for the finishing of the windows. When I arrived, the homeowner, Cora, asked me if I would look at her front door. It was a solid and well built entry door that needed some TLC. She was not sure what to do with it, so I made some suggestions on how we might restore it. Then she asked about her wood kitchen countertop, the matching dining table, the damaged retaining walls, the doors that have been damaged by their puppies, dings in finished doors, thresholds, etc. Lastly, she pointed out that she had a teak bench in the garden area that needed to be restored. When I told her we can do them all. She replied, “You do THAT too?!”
