The Founding of Mission Hills
Wednesday, January 09, 2008The Mission Hills Heritage will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of Mission Hills on January 19th at Francis Parker. Those of you who are interested in history or the preservation of an older community will not want to miss this event. Mission Hills is one of the oldest communities in San Diego and has a charm like no other place in town! This area of town is where the Chism brothers first began learning to paint from their father, Milton Chism. The Chism sons grew up and went to school in Mission Hills, so many wonderful memories are associated with this town.
Chism Brothers Painting will be sponsoring this event by donating the cake and providing the coffee for the event. For more information, please visit the Heritage Website
