Unique Metal Paint Finishes: Bronze
Monday, December 10, 2007We recently worked up a sample for a client who desired to have a bronze look installed to their existing black metal railing system. The cost to remove, reinstall and apply a finish would have been extremely expensive. So instead, we gave them the option to properly prep and repaint the railings with a faux finish. One option was to do a faux called, "parchment" or using a rag effect. This option is less expensive and gives a good "curbside" appeal. The section option was using metallic paints to create a more realistic bronze look.
Here are a couple of close up samples of the bronze metallic effect: Sample One: & Sample Two (Believe it or not, this process is NOT that expensive!)
