Portfolio - Faux Finishes

This was a sample for a customer who desired to have a bronze finish installed to their existing black railings. This is not an expensive process and is much less expensive than replacing the rails!

We were asked to come up with a bronze finish for a restoration project we were working on in the Banker's Hill area. The bronze look was to be painted on old black metal railings around the home. There were a number of different options to give the look of bronze. The ones that look the most like bronze actually have copper and zinc mixed into the paint giving it the metallic look!

We applied a faux technique to this 1920's tutor style home to help create a more wood look.
