How do you paint kitchen cab­i­nets in Chu­la Vista?

• First, we come out and pro­vide an esti­mate. We fac­tor in the mate­ri­als, con­di­tion, qual­i­ty, num­ber of doors and draw­ers, exist­ing fin­ish, the kind of fin­ish you’d like to achieve, plus take mea­sure­ments of the space. We’re thor­ough so that we can be accu­rate — no surprises.

• Next, we prep the space. Floor cov­er­ings, mask­ing, total project con­tain­ment… We know how to do it right. 

• After prep, we begin the dis­as­sem­bly, care­ful­ly remov­ing the cab­i­net doors and draw­er faces. They’re labeled and orga­nized for quick ref­er­ence when it’s time to put every­thing back together. 

• On to the next phase of prepa­ra­tion, this time focus­ing on the sur­faces. Degreas­ing, sand­ing, light repairs, more sand­ing, primer coats, more sand­ing, top­coats… You can’t skimp on prep or else you sac­ri­fice fin­ish qual­i­ty and longevity.

• Once every­thing is paint­ed, we bring it all back and reassemble. 

• We’ll do a quick walk through, just to make sure you love how it all turned out.
