Chism Brothers Painting recently worked at North Island Navy Base in Coronado to renovate the Carpenter Wood Shop floor. Below is a summary of the actions we performed and the products we used.
After using Jim Sander Co. to bead blast the floor, we vacuumed the floor and caulked the cracks for preparation. To ensure high performance we used Frazee's two-part epoxy paints and applied one coat of Amerlock, and two coats of Amershield. We used two additional coats of yellow Amershield to create safety lines around the machinery. Along with coating the floors, we applied protective coating to the machinery, which significantly enhanced the appearance of the workshop. The upgraded flooring transformed the Wood Shop from a warehouse feel to an improved corporation base.
