We recently completed the cleaning, stripping and refinishing of a medium size deck in La Jolla near Hillside Dr, lower Mt. Soledad area. We've been working for this client for close to 12 years now on her personal home and several of her La Jolla single-family rental homes. Because most of her properties are near the ocean, the wood surfaces take an ongoing beating (As you can see from some of the before photos of this deck).
Our crew leader, Veirnon did a wonderful job cleaning and stripping off the old wood sealer, applying a brightener followed be a few coats of a quality exterior semi-transparent stain / sealer. To keep the deck in top knotch shape, we will need to clearn and reapply a stain every two years.
