This Autumn we worked on a door and window refinishing project for a client in the Santaluz community, just north of Downtown San Deigo.
The garage door, and many of the windows needed thorough work to be restored to their former glory. When wooden windows or doors receive direct sunlight and are exposed to high-heat temperatures, they typically need to be refinished every 3 or so years.
Marty was our crew manager and main refinisher for this project, and working with him were two of our other painters. The surfaces required ample amounts of preparation work and sanding before we finished all of the surfaces with a high quality clear varnish (known as SA 1000).
