"Southern CA 'fall' does not happen in September or even October. So our color trends are a little less drastic than many other parts of the country. Great background neutrals may be 6199 Rare Gray, 7018 Dovetail or even 6035 Gauzy White (all by Sherwin-Williams). Strong color contrasts are 7593 Rustic Red, 6272 Plum Brown, or 6117 Smokey Topaz (again, Sherwin-Williams). Getting the color chips of these colors will help in creating new “fallish” schemes, not only for paint, but for fabrics as well."
