Three Gen­er­a­tions of Painters serv­ing Uni­ver­si­ty City, La Jol­la Vil­lage and sur­round­ing areas

As young boys, Mis­sion Hills broth­ers Michael and Patrick Chism learned the skills of paint­ing under the appren­tice­ship of their father Mil­ton Chism, him­self a San Diego house painter since the 1930s. While they fin­ished their mil­i­tary ser­vice and start­ed col­lege, the broth­ers con­tin­ued to hone their craft work­ing for La Jol­la con­trac­tor, Otto Welp. Upon the sud­den death of Mr. Welp, they branched out on their own and in 1982 found­ed Chism Broth­ers Painting.

Chism Broth­ers Paint­ing moved their office to Kearny Mesa in the mid 1990’s and quick­ly began to do a fair amount of work on homes, inside and out in Uni­ver­si­ty City (92122). This was do to the close prox­im­i­ty of our office but also many of the home­own­ers in this area liked the qual­i­ty of the work we per­formed. Many home­own­ers in this area are very edu­cat­ed and appre­ci­ate atten­tion to detail. 

Since we began our own com­pa­ny in 1982, Chism Broth­ers Paint­ing has strived to become the lead­ing home paint­ing com­pa­ny serv­ing the res­i­dences, builders and small busi­ness­es of the San Diego com­mu­ni­ty of Uni­ver­si­ty City by ensur­ing all with excep­tion­al qual­i­ty and depend­able ser­vice. We have hun­dreds of hap­py and repeat cus­tomers not only in your area but in near­by towns such as La Jol­la Vil­lage and La Jol­la.
