In Springtime, it is more difficult than usual to forgo spending time in the warmth and sunshine to spend hours working in an office. Not often can we choose what our work environment is like, but when it comes to our own home office, the possibilities are endless.

Do you have a hard time getting things done in your home office? Why not spend some time to repaint and redecorate it to be able to better enjoy the time you inevitably spend in it? Freshening up your office and making it more comfortable and functional will encourage efficiency.

The most popular neutral office colors right now are tan and beige, other popular color choices include Chesterton Buff, Sage Green, and Palladian Blue. These are great, cheerful office colors that encourage productivity. Light hues of yellow, green, and blue are associated with calmness and can stimulate intellectual thinking and clarity of thought.

Pick a week to spend some time sprucing up your office to be more modern, organized and inviting. Make it more of a sanctuary than a den. Think about how much more you could get done if you actually enjoy the atmosphere of your “work” room.
