Painter I
Apprentice - May have little or no experience in the field as a painter. Willing to learn how to prepare surfaces and support the success of the painting project up through being trained on all aspects of prepping, brushing and rolling to apply paint.
Painter II
An experienced Helper/Prepper with additional experience in brushing and rolling. Learning spray techniques, products, surfaces ready for finish work and understanding the project process.
Painter III
An experienced painter in all aspects of prepping, brushing, rolling and spraying. Considered to be equal with a journeyman painter level. A core part of the painting team. Setting an excellent example of what it means to be a painter for CBP.
Lead Painter
An experienced journeyman level painter/craftsman able to perform and complete small jobs independently. Able to interpret work orders, engage in customer and office communication for a successfully finished product.
Project Manager
A seasoned journeyman level craftsman able to supervise and train other painter levels. Able to lead a painting crew through all aspects of the various size projects from beginning to end including all customer interaction, accountable for all standards to be met, and complete documentation of the project.
