Most painters rush this step—eyeball the job, give a number, and leave. At Chism Brothers Painting, we do it differently. Your time is valuable, and while you don’t need to walk with us the whole time, it’s vital we carefully measure, take photos, and note details. This ensures fewer surprises, smooth scheduling, and results that reflect what’s most important to you.

In many cases, we’ll prepare your proposal right on-site and review it with you immediately. If the project requires more calculations, we’ll email it and follow up to review later. Either way, your proposal is clear, detailed, and accurate the first time. Many companies will start with a low estimate then upsell more services later. What we agree on is what you’ll pay.

Great results begin with great prep. The Chism Brother’s Team will move and cover belongings, patch, and prep surfaces as needed. Outside, we protect plants, mask windows, cover patios, and secure gates for pets. Our crews tidy up daily to minimize disruption. Many clients even tell us they miss our crew when the job is done—that’s how much care we bring.

Once everything is prepped, protected, and ready, we apply the proper primers and finishes so the results look beautiful and last. From color consistency to clean lines, we make sure every surface is finished the right way so your home shines inside and out.

We’ll walk through the project with you to ensure every detail meets your expectations. We also leave behind clearly labeled touch-up paint—with our contact information right on it—so you always know who to call. We even create a color schedule and keep a copy on file, so if you ever need to reference your exact colors, we’ve got you covered. And just as importantly—we won’t disappear. We can set reminders to check in on high-wear areas or sun exposure over time. We’re not a “one and done” contractor; we’re here to help you maintain your home for years to come.
