Staining a Staircase in San Diego

Stairways are some of the highest-traffic, hardest-working areas in your home. And if you have kids? Whew… Game over. Thundering up and down, bumps, scrapes, abused railings, you name it.

With all of this in mind, refreshing your staircase can deliver a HUGE boost in your home’s overall style. Whether you’re just repainting an existing color, applying a new stain, or are starting from scratch with a totally rethought look, the payback will be huge.

These are NOT easy surfaces to refinish, though, making a professional touch essential for the best results. As a case in point, let’s take a look at a gorgeous staircase that Victor, one of our master craftsmen, just wrapped up.

Stripping and Refinishing a Staircase Railing

The bones were all there: a pretty railing, attractive spindles, and an eye-catching, detailed style. It just needed a new finish!

Victor meticulously stripped and refinished the surface, delivering that exact attention to detail that our Chism Brothers Painting team is known for. We’re really proud of his work!
