A Closer Look at Cabinet Painting
In the slideshow above you’ll watch a transformation unfold in this Carlsbad home. There is a decent amount of natural light available, but the original dark cabinet color made this U-shaped kitchen feel tighter than it really is.
Our very own Victor led the charge with this project. He used a shellac-based primer from BIN as a starting point, then applied a final Break-Through finish in Off-White. This provided a hard, long-lasting coating that is ready to stand up to the wear and tear of a busy kitchen.
Applying a Pinstripe Glaze
For an extra dose of style and depth, Victor also added a dark grey pinstripe glaze. Putting his steady hand and true craftsmanship to work, this thin striping was brushed on with laser precision. Here’s a close-up look:
