Kitchen Cabinet Painting in Spring Valley, CA: Another Awesome Transformation!

Dreaming of a cabinet update? Here’s a little kitchen-spiration…

When it comes to making a major impact on your home’s style, focusing on the kitchen is a great strategy. Improvements to this central space tend to have a ripple effect, setting the tone in a powerful way, and offering a huge return on investment when it’s time to sell your property.

If you love the idea of giving your kitchen an update, but hate the idea of a long, hugely expensive (and disruptive!) remodel, cabinet painting could be your perfect solution.

Need an example? Take a look at this beautiful cabinet repaint!

Painting Cabinets White in Spring Valley, CA

It was time for a new look.

Our client wanted to paint over their darker, deeply-grained cabinet finish, going with a crisp white instead. The pulls and hardware were good, and we knew they’d work well with the new color.

  • Phase 1: Carefully prep the space, including project contaminants to protect surrounding rooms and surfaces
  • Phase 2: Remove cabinet doors and drawer faces
  • Phase 3: Prep and prime
  • Phase 4: Topcoats
  • Phase 5: Reassembly and touch-up!

The process is down to a science, smooth and efficient. As opposed to a remodel that can take your kitchen out of use for weeks or months, cabinet painting can be started and finished within a week in most cases (depending on the scope of the project).

What do you think of the results? Click through the photos above if you haven’t already, but here’s one of our favorite before/after shots.

Before-and-after of a kitchen: Oak cabinets replaced with white cabinets. Dark countertops and light wood floors.
