Stucco is a durable, low-maintenance building material. That’s why it’s so prevalent here in Carlsbad, as it is in so many parts of the world, offering a nice blend of aesthetic appeal and value. As you can see in the photos above, we had a case of flaking/cracking stucco right along the base of the siding. Another perfect example of why proactive maintenance checks can save you from a larger headache.

Repairs like this include careful prep, cleaning away loose stucco from the area, cleaning, patching, priming, and painting. Every step is important, and if done correctly will result in a smooth, seamless repair. In this case we had the opportunity for a full exterior repaint as well, making blending less of a concern.
