How To Choose Colors For Your Entire Home

When painting your entire house, choosing colors can be an overwhelming ordeal. There is a lot to consider as far as making sure the colors blend nicely and give the desired feel to the room. Don’t let the process discourage you though; we know of a couple ways to make this process easy and simple.

The best way to begin is by selecting a good light or neutral color for the foyer or hallway. After you choose this “connecting” color, you can pick two or three (or however many necessary) complementary colors for the distinct rooms (such as the Kitchen or Dining Room) adjacent to the hallway.

If you already know what color you want to paint a particular distinct room, then you can also work from there. Starting this way is a little bit more difficult, especially if you have a dark or vibrant color in mind for a room, but you can always make it work. You can also choose a second color for the hallway, foyer or stairway areas to tie the colors together better.

If you follow these few suggestions, the color-scheme of your home should flow very nicely and look beautiful. If you would like a free estimate or color consultation , give Chism Brothers Painting a call at 858-454-3850.
