Two More Reasons We’re Grateful to Be a La Jolla Painting Company!

Last Updated: January 14, 2023

Not only do we love serving our San Diego customers, helping them care for their homes and businesses, but we also love growing strong roots in our communities. As a third-generation painting company we’ve had a lot of opportunities to do just that. We’ve connected with incredible organizations, built partnerships, given back as often as we can, and sometimes just showed up and painted something simply because it needed a fresh coat.

Today, we’d love to share two specific updates about our La Jolla community connections.

Getting ready for the 2023 Las Patronas Jewel Ball!

If you aren’t familiar with Las Patronas, it’s an incredible group. In short, Las Patronas has donated over $25M to more than a thousand San Diego charities since 1946, and the Jewel Ball is their crown jewel of annual fundraising events.

To support their specific themes each year, we help them paint the decorative backdrops. It’s honestly an event all in itself, and so much fun for everyone involved.

Behind the scenes, this kind of work is a great reminder of how much planning goes into a single night. The backdrops need to support the theme, look great in photos, and come together on a real timeline. It is a creative project, but it still requires the same fundamentals we bring to every job: solid prep, consistent application, and attention to detail so the final result looks clean and intentional.

The 77th Annual Jewel Ball, held on August 5, 2023, is going to be named Daisies & Disco, with a throwback to 1977. Love it!

A second reason we’re grateful in La Jolla

We also have exciting news connected to the La Jolla Readers Choice Awards, and we are grateful for the support and recognition from the La Jolla community.

As a local painting company, that kind of feedback means a lot because it reflects the trust homeowners and neighbors place in us. We do not take that lightly, and we work hard to earn it on every project through clear communication, professional prep, and results that hold up.
