A Restored Wood Finish

Recently, our client contacted us with hopes of bringing a fresh look to their San Diego home. The exterior of the home was built with beautiful vertical Douglas Fir siding. It was definitely time to refinish, both to restore curb appeal and to rebuild that essential layer of protection for the unprotected wood.

First, we knew we had to take a little time to strip the existing finish so that the Douglas Fir would be ready for us to apply an oil-based stain. As you can see, this was a great way to awaken the beauty of this natural wood and bring a very modern, updated look to this home.

We also focused on the trim, repainting it with a crisp, bright white. This really tied the ribbon on this beautiful home and brought even more definition to the wood.
