Popular Interior Paint Color Trends for Your San Diego Home

Last Updated: September 17, 2021

Need help picking your next interior paint palette? Here's a look at a few popular color trends to get you started.

Love a Good Neutral Paint Color?

Are Gray Paints Still Popular? Absolutely.

Don't Stop At Neutrals. Take Your Interior Paint Colors Deeper!

The last couple of years have been all about white and gray, but we're pivoting away from those being the only top paint color options right now. We're seeing a resurgence of interest in bolder colors too, but ones with roots in nature. Calming blue and earthy green, for example, as well as bold colors like Sherwin-Williams Urbane Bronze. Use it as an anchor color or an accent wall - whichever you prefer.

If you do choose a deeper, bold shade, we'd recommend adding in some natural textures as well, like wood finishes.

What's the Takeaway?

The options are wide open. With people spending more time at home and redefining their spaces, the trends have grown pretty all-encompassing. The best thing you can do is think through your tastes and build a palette that you love. And, as always, ask for help.
